Your Autumn

DSCN2608

Tree roots shot up from the ground
A perfect seat for us two
We told secrets and gathered round
Until the cold winds blew

When Autumn arrived the leaves died
the ground was orange and red
Playing truth or dare, I always lied
and now, can’t get you out of my head
